In this section are all the one-short short stories, or the short stories that don't have recurring characters or a recurring setting/world, or simply aren't part of any series. Each one will have a synopsis, usually a few notes from me, and then a link to the story in question. If you would like to comment on these stories, please use my contact form, just remember the rules on the main fiction page about constructive criticism. Enjoy! :)

Tuesday Matinee

Synopsis: Cary Grant has a very unfortunate name, but that's not all. He's also stuck in a dead-end job in a dead-end town and he's itching to get out. One day, he meets a young woman who cries in an empty theater every Tuesday night and his life takes a turn for the better.

Author's Notes: Gah, I suck at synopsises (synopii?). Anyway, I wrote a long journal entry about "Tuesday Matinee" here, which really has all the notes I'd want to say about this short story.
